I really like this climbing gym. It's very close to lots of other things I go to, like Costco and home Depot. I like their emphasis on bouldering and the auto belays so that any climbing I do can be solo. I like the flexibility of the hours they allow for members too. The gym is always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they host cool events for climbing.
We love Rock Solid! They have Fridays and Mondays lower price rate. They have large space and are kids friendly. The staff are helpful and have patience with kids. We will definitely go back!
Pretty great gym. There are a variety of walls, even a taller one with autobelays. I really enjoyed the topout area. The shower was super private and clean. The setting was great! Most of the problems I did had great movement and were a lot of fun. The grading system is a little strange. There is no V scale, the routes are graded by the color of the holds. I was told it's because they want everyone not to be intimidated by numbers and jump on any problem. In my opinion, it works the same with the colors. If I know certain colors are more difficult, I would just be intimidated by colors instead of numbers. That aside, it was a great few hours of climbing. The staff were also super friendly and helpful when I had a question! Thanks Rock Solid!
Come here on every trip to Tucson. Love the diversity of routes and space to rest, relax and watch some great skills. Daughter loves it too.
The staff here are very helpful and friendly. My kids love climbing here. You can do both just bouldering and use a harness to make it less terrifying. Great gym!
This place is amazing. The majority of the gym is bouldering/free climbing, but they also have an auto belay wall if you want to be tethered. You can even get unstaffed access added to your membership and you can go climbing (as long as someone else is in the gym) any day at any time.
I recommend this gym to everyone.
Hi, my name is Scotty Peterson. Ive been working at Rock Solid since Jan 2023 (just finished this month, Oct 2023). Rock Solid is the best climbing gym I've ever worked at. The maintenance and dedication to the gym is outstanding. I loved working there and i was able to gain a hobby of rock climbing (which i got progressively better as I continued to climb). The Community of Rock Solid is great and will be a place I will miss.

Very welcoming atmosphere! Nice, clean facility, with showers and break area with microwaves and sinks, so you can really spend the whole day there.
Broad range of difficulty on the boulder and belay walls. I love this place!
